July 6 - Shravan month begins
According to the Purnimant calendar, the Shravan month begins on July 6. Shravan is the first month of the Chaturmas period according to Hindu beliefs. Usually, during this month, devotees of Lord Shiva take part in the Kanwar Yatra.
