Sardar Vallabbhai Patel Jayanti

Today is the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabbhai Patel. The whole country celebrates this day in the day of national unity. Patel was born on 31 October 1875 in Nadiad, Gujarat. He is considered to have a special role in making India. Sardar Patel is remembered for merging the 565 princely states of India to create a united India.
